Thank you, re:Voiced; thank you, Brandon...

Thursday's re:Voiced concert was a huge success, judging by the audience reaction, and by the things I heard from their new fans following the concert and on Friday.  Clearly, those in attendance were impressed with re:Voiced's talent, professionalism, and charm.

As a hectic Thursday was winding down, I was able to share a quiet pre-concert meal (thank you, Fine Arts Boosters) with re:Voiced.  The guys were unanimous in their praise of Brandon and the Brandon Valley Schools.  They said they have never been treated so well by students, adults, and by a community in general.  The Brandon stop on their tour was the first time in South Dakota for any of the group's members, and if they have their way, it won't be the last.  We'd love to have them come back again!
An event of this size would be impossible without the work of the BV Fine Arts Boosters, who volunteered time, talents, and energies to make this successful.  Thank you so much!

re:Voiced concert Thursday!

Re:VoicedThe A Cappella Experience -  is coming to Brandon Valley Thursday, October 2
This phenomenal 5-voice a-cappella ensemble sings everything from the Great American Songbook to do-wop to contemporary American pop --all with high energy and amazing blend.

Their appearance in Brandon is tour is part of the much larger Music In Schools Tour that they’re doing throughout the country, and is a way for the members of re:Voiced to help raise money for music programs similar to the ones that influenced them so greatly when they were in high school.  Over the past few years, the Music In Schools Tour has donated over $100,000 back to high school music programs.

For a portion of the school day Thursday, re:Voiced will be working with middle school and high school choral students.  At 7 pm they’ll be filling the Performing Arts Center with fantastic music for all to hear!!

Advance sale tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults, and are available from any BVHS Choir member, or by calling the PAC box office at 582-8039 during school hours.  Tickets will also be available at the door Thursday night for $7 and $12.
