Judging was meticulous, and scores at the cut-off point were close in all sections. If you have questions about how you did in your audition, speak to me about it. I will not post scores, but I can try to give you an idea of how or why your audition did not work out for you.

Welcome to the blog page of the Brandon Valley HS Choirs. This site is to inform choir members and their families of the choir events throughout the year. Links on the right side of this page can direct you to more detailed information on different topics as the year goes by.

COOKIE DOUGH...
Our annual frozen cookie dough fundraiser will be held August 30-September 7. Student participation is optional; all proceeds go to individual student accounts, and will be used for the next choir trip in the spring of 2022.
FALL CONCERT...
The Lynx and Concert Choirs will perform their Fall Concert Monday, October 1 in the PAC at 7:30 pm.
CONCERT ATTIRE...
All choir members will be wearing BVHS choir robes. Under the robes, boys will need black dress pants, black dress shoes, and black socks. Girls will need all-black, closed-toe, flat or low-heel dress shoes. Please see the "CHOIR SYLLABUS" link to the right for more details. Contact Mr. Gullickson with any questions.
ALL-STATE CHORUS AUDITIONS...
SD All-State Chorus auditions will be held Wednesday September 19 after school in the BVHS choir room. Twenty BVHS singers (5 quartets) will be chosen to attend this year's SD All-State Chorus & Orchestra to be held October 26-27 at the Rushmore Civic Center in Rapid City. See the "ALL-STATE AUDITION HELP" link at the right for more information.
SD-ACDA Junior High (includes 9th grade) Honor Choir, and National ACDA Honor Choir...
